Terms & Conditions


• “The Client”: A business or individual hiring Rolling Designs.
• “Rolling Designs”: Simone Roll and any contractor(s) deemed necessary to complete the project.
• “Quote”, “Quotation”, “Estimate”: An estimate of the project’s total price once completed.
• “Project”: The services provided from Rolling Designs to The Client.
• “Supply”: Information or goods given either verbally, written or digitally.
• “Third Party”: Any goods or services used from another individual or business. Including but not limited to: stock photography, domain registration, web hosting, fonts, professional printing, delivery fees, insurance or contractors.


  • All quotations are valid for 30 days. Any quote not accepted within this time is subject to a re quote. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars. All prices include GST.
  • Any additional work not quoted, or outside the original scope relating to the project will be charged at an hourly rate of $66 p/hr inc GST.
  • Rolling Designs is not responsible for increases in materials by third party services (eg printers, sign writers, web developers) where the increases are beyond our control.
  • Rolling Designs reserves the right to change pricing without notice.


  • For all projects over $300, a 50% deposit is required prior to commencement of design and will be invoiced on acceptance of quotation, with the balance (and any unquoted work) invoiced on completion of the project. This is non-refundable.
  • If a project continues over its estimated time, the duration taken to complete the project will be quoted as additional cost. This charge will begin only after prior notice is given and The Client approves.
  • Additional charges to a Third Party are non-refundable.
  • Once a project has been completed by Rolling Designs and approved by The Client the final invoice balance is then due. Withholding payment will result in debt collection or legal action if necessary, and all costs and expenses are chargeable to The Client.
  • Only once an invoice payment has been made in full can any work be released.
  • Once full payment is received for a project, it is assumed that the project has been completed to the Client’s satisfaction and no refunds can be made.


  • Final invoices are due within 14 days. A penalty of 10% of the total will be charged for every 14 days the invoice is due. The Client will receive a courtesy reminder via email before late fees are incurred.
  • Whilst any payment remains outstanding, Rolling Designs shall be entitled to withhold provision of any goods or services it would otherwise be obliged to provide under the agreement.


  • The Client will assume all reproduction rights of final design file(s) only upon full payment for the completed project.  These rights may exclude any Third Party elements which always remain the property of their respective owners.
  • The Client has no rights to use any preliminary concepts unless specifically permitted by Rolling Designs.
  • Rolling Designs retains the right to use completed projects and any preliminary concept designs for any purpose at its sole and absolute discretion including re-sale or the display of the completed work within a portfolio or website.
  • The Client agrees to allow Rolling Designs to credit design work on all material designed by Rolling Designs.
  • Rolling Designs is exempt from responsibility for any copyright infringements caused by materials submitted by or for the Client. Any breach of copyright will result in action being taken as necessary.


  • The Client agrees to make available as soon as is reasonably possible to Rolling Designs all materials required to complete the project to the agreed standard and within the set deadline. Rolling Designs will not be held liable for a Client’s or third party’s failure to provide materials requested by Rolling Designs if it results in a missed deadline.
  • When there is one (1) week or less notice (materials in hand) for any design service a $100 Priority Fee will be charged for time compensation.
  • Although great measures are taken to produce the work properly, Rolling Designs will not be held responsible for errors in rush projects and will not be liable for costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due to the failure to meet agreed deadlines.


  • Cancellations by The Client must be made in writing by email to Rolling Designs before an invoice deposit has been made. Once the deposit has been made it is deemed as non-refundable.
  • If The Client stops contacting Rolling Designs by any means for a period up to 60 days then the project is automatically deemed closed with no refund. The client has no rights to concepts or files supplied. If the client wishes to progress the project after this time and the project is re-accepted by Rolling Designs then a new quote will be arranged.
  • It is within Rolling Designs best interests to not withdraw or delay a project. However, delay or cancellation may occur for sickness, ethical disputes, Third Party availability or any other instances deemed reasonable by Rolling Designs including reasons beyond its control. Rolling Designs is under no obligation to provide a Quote or draft design for any request and reserves the right to delay or withdraw any services in whole or in part. Rolling Designs shall be under no liability whatsoever for any costs, losses or damages, howsoever arising, that may incur, due to the removal of such services.


  • Approval is required for all projects, via an email approval form, prior to work being released.
  • Final design files are supplied as a complete, un-editable high resolution PDF file. They will not be supplied as original, editable format unless specifically requested. Costs for purchase of original, editable file will incur at 50% of total invoice. Fonts will not be supplied due to third party copyright but can be purchased and downloaded separately by the Client. Rolling Designs reserves the right to refuse the supply of any original files. Exceptions to this term include logo EPS files.
  • Logo files only will be supplied to The Client in print and web formats as EPS, JPG and PDF.
  • Any delay in the completion of the project shall entitle the completion/delivery date to be extended by the time equivalent to the period of such delay.
  • Non-printed project files will be delivered by email either as an attachment, or using an external download link. Printed projects will be postal delivered straight from the printer involved.
  • After the project has been delivered, Rolling Designs shall not be liable for any loss if the files are misplaced, damaged or otherwise.


  • Rolling Designs is not responsible for any artwork or file supplied by The Client that does not print as assumed quality.
  • Prices may change at any time at Third-Party printer’s sole discretion.
  • Colours will appear differently from screen to print production, therefore The Client agrees that any digital proof is not an accurate representation of the final project.
  • Rolling Designs is not responsible for CMYK colours varying between professional printers.
  • If professional printing is required then Rolling Designs will not be held responsible for errors in a final product caused by any of the following reasons: misspelling, grammar, punctuation, graphic quality, wrong cut, incorrect or missing folds, finished product size, colour discrepancies or packaging damages.


  • By entering into a design process with Rolling Designs you hereby accept the above conditions and any updated versions.  Entrance into a design process involves and invoice deposit by The Client, or research related to the project by Rolling Designs, or the supply of design concepts or examples from Rolling Designs to The Client.  Rolling Designs is then authorised to execute the project as outlined in this agreement.
